Terms of Service

Lefimer is a marketplace. We connect people planning events with businesses that supply event services, and we provide the tools to brief, quote, book and pay. We are not the supplier of any service listed on the platform.

The contract for any event service is between you and the vendor. We are not a party to it, and we do not guarantee any vendor’s performance.

• You must be at least 18 to hold an account.
• The information you give us must be accurate, and you must keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access to it.
• Usernames are unique and may be reclaimed if they impersonate another person or business.

Businesses that list on Lefimer submit an identity document, a KRA PIN and a business permit. We check that the documents exist and match the business named. A verified badge means that check was done — it is not a warranty of quality, licensing for any regulated activity, or insurance cover.

Vendors must hold whatever licences their trade requires, must honour the prices they publish, and must not solicit payment outside a booking made on the platform in order to avoid commission.

We may suspend or remove any listing at our discretion, including for fraud, misrepresentation, repeated non-delivery, or unlawful content.

• Posting a brief is free and does not commit you to booking anyone.
• A quote becomes binding on the vendor when they send it, for as long as it is stated to be valid.
• Accepting a quote creates a booking and a contract with that vendor on the terms of the quote.
• Cancellation terms are set by the vendor and shown before you pay.

Clients pay no fee to use Lefimer. Vendors may buy lead credits or a Pro subscription, and a commission applies to bookings made through the platform. Current rates are shown in the console before purchase.

Payments are processed by our payment provider. Deposits are held and released according to the booking terms. Refunds follow the vendor’s stated cancellation policy; where a vendor fails to deliver, contact us and we will mediate.

All amounts are in Kenyan Shillings unless stated otherwise, and are inclusive of tax where applicable.

Only a client with a completed booking may review the vendor for that booking. Reviews must be honest and must not contain personal data about third parties, abuse, or unlawful material. We may remove reviews that breach this.

You keep ownership of the content you upload. You grant us a licence to host, display and reproduce it for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform.

• Post false, misleading or infringing content.
• Scrape, harvest or bulk-export listings, briefs or contact details.
• Use another person’s identity documents or business registration.
• Interfere with the platform’s operation or security.

To the extent permitted by law, Lefimer is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for the acts and omissions of vendors or clients. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Where we are liable, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where required by law. Bookings already made survive termination.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in the app before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have exclusive jurisdiction.
